The Camel Spider is said to inject its venom into its victim which numbs the limb, and then they begin eating the flesh, unknown to the victim.

This is based on an image shown to me by a friend, not that I really wanted to see it in the first place. But I thought it'd be a great opportunity to attempt to relicate a wound from an image. I've been way too squirmish to do it before, real wounds just give me shivers up my spine. It took a whole lotta guts for me to search for actual wounds and infections, but now that I have I'm going to try more.

Just so everyone knows, the claim about camel spider venom is 100% false. Camel spiders don't even have venom. They rely entirely on the strength of their powerful mandibles to bring down prey. A camel spider bite will definitely hurt, but it would have to get infected to cause anything close to this, and that's true of any bite wound. If you get bit, just clean the wound and you'll be fine.
