Camel Spider Bite2 by SometimesAliceFX Camel Spider Bite2 by SometimesAliceFX
Another shot of this makeup.

:bulletred: Scar Wax
:bulletred: Nylon fibres
:bulletred: Gel blood and cake blood
:bulletred: Face paints in red, black and yellow.

The Camel Spider is said to inject its venom into its victim which numbs the limb, and then they begin eating the flesh, unknown to the victim.

This is based on an image shown to me by a friend, not that I really wanted to see it in the first place. But I thought it'd be a great opportunity to attempt to relicate a wound from an image. I've been way too squirmish to do it before, real wounds just give me shivers up my spine. It took a whole lotta guts for me to search for actual wounds and infections, but now that I have I'm going to try more.

I'm the same. I use you and PlaceboFX when I need reference images for really bloody drawings because I'm waaaay too chicken to look up real pictures

Someone once told me to go to bestgore.com for references and I nearly chucked up my lunch.. NEVER AGAIN! D:

And I'm really honored that you use my work as a reference! (:

I realised when I looked at one of your first attempt pics that you look/used to look EXACTLY like Camille, one of my OCs, especially with that scar makeup! It's terrifying! I mean the likeness, the makeup just made me feel kinda sick :puke:

Anyway, I totally admire your work. And I'm the same as you used to be; glue stick, Vaseline and usual girly common-or-garden makeup. But I did make my boyfriend puke a little when I showed him a makeup thingmy I did :high: ;P :lick:

After a few hours it dries, but because of the nylon it keeps its texture, so I didn't bother touching it up. (:
